Our Mission

To Eliminate Pallet Waste and Build a Circular Economy for the Logistics Industry

Every year, hundreds of millions of pallets are discarded in the United States alone. We exist to change that reality. By buying, repairing, recycling, and reselling used pallets, we keep valuable resources in circulation, reduce carbon emissions, and help businesses operate more sustainably without increasing costs.

Our mission goes beyond profit. We believe that the logistics industry has both the opportunity and the responsibility to lead the transition to a circular economy, and we are committed to making that transition as easy, affordable, and impactful as possible for every business we serve.

Core Values

The Principles That Guide Us

Every decision we make, from how we source pallets to how we treat our team, is guided by these five core values.

Sustainability

Sustainability is not a marketing slogan for us — it is the foundation of our entire business. Every process, from pallet collection to delivery, is designed to minimize environmental impact. We track our carbon footprint, measure our landfill diversion rates, and hold ourselves accountable to public environmental targets every year.

We believe that the best way to protect the environment is to make sustainable choices the easiest and most affordable option. That is why we work tirelessly to ensure that used pallets are not just an ecological choice, but a smart business choice too.

What Integrity Means to Us

Transparent pricing with no hidden fees or surprise charges
Honest grading — every pallet is accurately classified
We stand behind every pallet we sell with a quality guarantee
Open communication about timelines, availability, and limitations
Ethical sourcing practices and fair treatment of all partners

Integrity

Trust is the foundation of every business relationship. We earn that trust through radical transparency, honest communication, and a steadfast refusal to cut corners. When we grade a pallet, the grade is accurate. When we quote a price, there are no hidden fees. When we make a promise, we keep it.

Our 98% customer retention rate is not accidental — it is the direct result of treating every customer, every partner, and every team member with the respect and honesty they deserve.

Innovation

The pallet industry may be one of the oldest in logistics, but we approach it with a modern, innovative mindset. From our online ordering platform to our data-driven inventory management, we continuously invest in technology and processes that make used pallet sourcing faster, easier, and more efficient.

We are currently developing advanced sorting systems using machine learning to automate pallet grading, route optimization software to reduce delivery emissions, and a customer portal that provides real-time inventory and sustainability metrics.

Community

We believe that a successful business has a responsibility to give back to the communities it serves. From the neighborhoods where our warehouses operate to the forests that provide the raw materials for the pallets we handle, we are committed to being a positive force.

Our community programs include tree planting initiatives, local job creation prioritizing underserved communities, free recycling education for businesses, and pallet donations to nonprofits and food banks. We measure our success not just by our bottom line, but by the positive impact we create.

Quality

Used does not mean unreliable. We have built our reputation on delivering used pallets that meet and exceed expectations. Every pallet that leaves our facility has been inspected, tested, and graded by trained professionals who understand the demands of modern supply chains.

Our multi-point inspection process checks structural integrity, board condition, nail placement, and overall safety. Pallets that do not meet our standards are either repaired to specification or recycled — never shipped. This commitment to quality is why our customers trust us with their most demanding logistics needs.

Grade ALike New

Minimal wear. Suitable for export, retail, and clean environments. Passes all structural tests.

Grade BGood Condition

Light cosmetic wear but fully functional. Ideal for warehousing and domestic shipping.

Grade CEconomy

Visible wear and possible minor repairs. Best for single-use, storage, or non-critical applications.

Social Responsibility

People Matter Here

Sustainability extends beyond the environment. We are equally committed to the well-being of our employees, the fairness of our business practices, and the strength of the communities we serve.

Living Wage Commitment

Every Pallets Resale employee earns at least 20% above the local minimum wage, with annual cost-of-living adjustments. We believe that fair compensation is a baseline, not a benefit. Our warehouse associates start at $18/hour or higher depending on location, with clear paths to raises based on skill certification.

Employee Wellness Program

We offer comprehensive health insurance with 80% employer-paid premiums, an Employee Assistance Program for confidential counseling, annual health screenings, gym membership subsidies, and on-site first aid stations. Mental health is a priority, not an afterthought.

Diversity & Inclusion

Our workforce includes people from 12+ national backgrounds, ages 19 to 67, and experience levels from first-job newcomers to 30-year veterans. We use structured interviews and blind resume reviews to reduce hiring bias. Annual compensation audits ensure pay equity across all roles.

Community Hiring Programs

We partner with local workforce development boards in each city where we operate, providing job training and employment opportunities for underserved communities. Over 40% of our hires come through community referral programs, and we offer second-chance employment for those rebuilding their careers.

Charitable Pallet Donations

We donate thousands of pallets annually to food banks, disaster relief organizations, and nonprofit distribution centers. Clean, graded pallets help these organizations store and transport essential goods safely, reducing their operating costs and letting them focus resources on their missions.

Environmental Education

Our team members volunteer at local schools, teaching students about recycling, the circular economy, and sustainable careers. We host facility tours for student groups and sponsor environmental science programs at schools near our warehouse locations in all eight operating cities.

Our People

Employee Impact Stories

Behind every pallet we recycle is a team member who cares deeply about our mission. Here are some of the voices that make Pallets Resale what it is.

When I started here, I was just looking for a job. But once I understood that every pallet I repaired was one less in a landfill, it changed how I see my work. I take pride in knowing that my hands help keep millions of pounds of wood out of the waste stream every year.

Carlos Rivera
Warehouse Lead, Tampa Facility
7 years with Pallets Resale

What I love about this company is that sustainability is not just a poster on the wall. It is in every route I plan, every pickup I schedule. When I optimize a route to save 50 miles, I know that is real fuel saved and real emissions avoided. That matters to me.

Aisha Johnson
Logistics Coordinator, Atlanta Facility
4 years with Pallets Resale

I grade about 400 pallets a day. Each one I pass means a business gets a quality product at half the price of new, and a perfectly good pallet stays in use instead of being ground up or thrown away. The training I received here gave me skills I never imagined I would have.

Mike Patterson
Pallet Grading Specialist, Dallas Facility
5 years with Pallets Resale

Our customers are not just buying pallets. They are making a choice for the environment. When I help a new customer understand the impact of switching to recycled pallets, and they see the numbers, their faces light up. That is the best part of my day.

Samantha Chen
Customer Service Manager, Los Angeles Facility
